“Now unto Him that is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think…” Ephesians 3:20
This has been something of a “church verse” of Fayette Baptist Church. From the first core team meeting in our home at the end of October, Pastor Drew has continued to encourage the core team to pray for God to do abundantly above all that we could ask or think. We have continued to see God work in an incredible way, and this Sunday was another example of Him doing more than we ever thought to ask!
On Sunday morning Fayette Baptist began to meet in the Bellevue Arlington office complex. We are using these times specifically for the training of the various ministries that we will be offering at Fayette Baptist Church. We met at Cleaves Memorial in Oakland on Sunday night, and it was such a blessing to be together as a church for both Sunday morning and Sunday evening worship services. Sunday night was our first open gathering, and we were excited to see nearly 60 people in attendance! God continues to bless and grow Fayette Baptist Church.

We took a couple of group pictures of our night. In the first picture we tried to keep it serious.

In the second picture we allowed our people to allow their true personality to shine through. It looks like the right side of the group is going to be the more stable, mature part of the group. And we can assure all of you that Kathy Gambrell (aka Beth Moore) will not be working in the nursery (just take a look at her child in the picture and you will understand why we had to take this position).

It was a great Sunday, and we look forward to sharing with you in the coming days how God will continue to work in and through Fayette Baptist Church, doing abundantly and exceedingly above all that we could ask or think!
